Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4 1954. She is a comedian from Canada as well as an actress and writer. O'Hara has won numerous distinctions that include a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was made as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honoured with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara was first recognized as an actress in 1974, while she was a part of The Second City in Toronto. Together with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the primary casting for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy began working on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won an Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her outstanding writing for a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
